Off to Vacation!!!

Hi guys! So, unfortunately, I haven't hear anything lately and I haven't been to a comic shop in a while, so I don't have any news for you guys. Sorry. I'm also going to be in the mountains for the next couple of weeks, and there isn't any Wi-Fi up there so my next blog is going to be on July 9th. Once again, sorry for the wait. I'm going to miss you all!

New Teen Titans TV Show is Coming Out Soon!!!

Hey, everybody! Today, I have some BIG Titans news. A couple of days ago, Cartoon Network decided that (after many letters) they are going to be showing a brand new, half and hour long Teen Titans series (SQUEEEE!!!!). It's been forever since I've seen Teen Titans on cable and I am SUPER stoked about it! I've been trying to get my little sister to watch it with me on YouTube, but I don't think that she's as excited as I am.

Okay, back to the new series. According to another comic book blog I read, all of the voice actors/actresses are going to be playing the same characters as before. That includes Tara Strong as Raven, Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Hynden Walch as Starfire, and Scott Menville as Robin. The only thing that is different is the artwork. Here are the before and after characters:

As you can see, the new artwork is very different than the original. I think that this new artwork looks more chibi as to the original artwork looked more....um....realistic. And the new Silky looks so cute! He looks like a mix between a larva and a chihuahua puppy. How that looks cute, I have no idea, but it does somehow.

Well, sorry for the really short post. This is probably the most exciting thing I've heard this week, so that's why I'm posting this.

So that's all I have for today. Feel free to tell me what you think about the new show. See you all later!

Young Justice (NOT the TV show) and Wolverine and the X-Men: Alpha & Omega

Hello, everyone who is reading this! So as you can see, I'm going to only be talking about two comic books today. The first one I'm going to talk about is Young Justice

On Saturday, my dad and I went to one of our local comic shops to use up some gift cards and while we were there, I was browsing through the back issues when I saw this:

The first thing I saw was the purple girl at the left of the words "THE FIFTY FT. WOMAN!" As soon as I saw her I thought, "Oh my gosh! It's Steph!" who is my favorite all-time DC girl! (see The Runaways, Batgirl featuring Squire, and Lady's Comic Night) So again, I naturally pick it up. This comic is about the Young Justice team going to this country filled with villains and they go stop them and the ruler of the country just happens to have the power to become the ground and become over 50 ft. tall. I really enjoyed this comic and hope to continue reading it.

Now for X-Men (yes!!!). This series is about a guy named Quentin Quire, who has telepathy, makes Wolverine and Armor black out and think that they are in a post apocalyptic world. I really liked reading this comic mainly because it was funny and action-packed, just what I look for in comic books! Here's the cover for the first one:

Well, that's all I have for today. Feel free to comment, follow, send me comic suggestions, etc. Sorry this post is so short. See you guys later!
